Remembering Together Dumfries and Galloway

I am currently working collaboratively as a commissioned artist alongside social artist Dr ts Beall on Remembering Together Dumfries and Galloway, a national project that looks to co-create community covid memorials in every local authority in Scotland. Over the next few months Tara and I are visiting a variety of communities and hosting workshops and conversations with a variety of groups and interested folk. If you’d like to find out more about the project, please do get in touch or use the handy link-tree directory below.

To mark ten years of practice, Gracefield Arts Centre in Dumfries is hosting my first solo exhibition, Settling from 7th October to 12th November 2022. Featuring a pair of environmental sound works re-imagined for the gallery, alongside new audio works and installations exploring place, identity, and environment – the works in Settling invite the audience to take a journey – from the sonic to the imagined.

From the Land to the Sky

The public opening of From the Land to the Sky exhibition at Art Gene, The Nan Tait Centre in Barrow-in-Furness has been postponed until Monday, 3rd October. The exhibition brings together a selection of artists working with communities across the North West of England, including my own work with students from Furness Academy. Find out more about my project here or visit the exhibition website below for more information.
