Commissioned hand held sculptures
Dumfries and Galloway.
Quest was an environmental art project led by artist Jan Hogarth, for the second Environmental Arts Festival Scotland which saw water from Hartfell Spa carried over the Moffat Hills to the festival site to be shared and distributed during fireside conversations.
For the project I created a series of pewter cast drining vessels, and sourced a series of vintage torpedo glass bottles. The vessels were designed for communal passing and sharing, without bases to encourage the continued passing on of the objects and to add an element of ceremony and occassion to the sharing of water.
