Sound Horn

Exciting news to announce that the Sound Horn installation will be part of this years Sonica programme in Glasgow. Sonica is an 11 day biennial festival in Glasgow of visual sonic arts, presenting a mixture of international artists alongside emerging UK artists across the city. Sonica is produced by Cryptic Glasgow – more about them available here.

Sound Horn will be located in the curious and unexpected venue of the Parterre Garden at Pollok House, a Victorian formal garden of box hedge and symmetrical flowerbeds outside the impressive country house cared for by the National Trust for Scotland.

For those who have seen earlier versions of the sound and sculptural installation work – this new presentation will include new soundscapes created whilst on residency with Cryptic at Cove Park earlier this year.

Sound Horn installation set in the landscape of Cove Park, February 2019.

For full details about the installation, which runs 31st October to 2nd November in the Parterre Garden at Pollok House, visit the Sonica website here.
