Just a small note of invitation to you all, those who have bumped into my over the past few months will know things have been very busy working towards the close of the Remembering Together – the community covid memorial project I’ve been working on alongside artist t s Beall, and we are now preparing for a series of launch events in June at each of our Dispersed Memorial Forest sites.

As well as the official launching of the sculptural markers and the tree sites themselves, each of our gathering events will include food, creative activities and in some sites, some gentle walking.

These events are free to attend and open to all, so if you’d like to come and get a first look at the project it would be lovely to see you.

Sanquhar, Friday 14^th June 11am-2pm, Bell Crescent Park
Moffat, Thursday 20^th June 6-8pm, Moffat Nature Reserve
Threave, Thursday 27^th June 6-8pm, Threave Nature Reserve, Castle Douglas
Stranraer, 29^th June 11am-3pm, Galloway Community Hospital
